Background

In June 2024, while watching TikTok, I came across the OleeRod Dehumidifier. As I was looking at ways to dehumidify some of the places at home, I decided to purchase it to test it out.

The Stuff

The OleeRod dehumidifier comes in different lengths. According to the user manual, it safely eliminates dampness and humidity that lead to the growth of mildew, rust, corrosion, and odor caused by dampness. It is energy-saving, easy to install, and does not emit dangerous gases or sparks. Best of all, it is a permanent yet maintenance-free solution to moisture control.

It works by warming up air to approximately 40°C, drying and circulating it to keep cabinet/closet fresh, protected against high humidity, and expel airborne pollutants from enclosed areas. The air within the cabinet/closet is replaced several times thus keeping valuables protected from mold, mildew, rust, and rot.

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have used the OleeRod Dehumidifier for about a month since this post. So far it has been working according to the user manual. The area around the rod is warm, bringing down the humidity.

Compared to other dehumidifiers that I have, the DampRid FG96 Moisture Absorbing Kit – Drop In Tab and the Xiaomi SOTHING Plant Dehumidifier DSHJ-DG-006, I feel that this is a better solution as it does not need to replenish or recharge. Just plug it in, power it on, and let it do its work.

As this is the shortest model, I have bought another 2 longest ones to put in my storeroom and study/guest room as they are closed most of the time. I believe it will take some time before I start to see a reduction in humidity in these rooms.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the OleeRod Dehumidifier is a good electrical dehumidifying solution without replenishing. If you are interested in this stuff, you can click on the link below:
