Daiso Korea Wireless Charge Holder

Background

In April 2024, while I was traveling in South Korea, I visited their Daiso store. Compared to other Daiso stores in other countries, Daiso Korea contains several different stuff that only they have.

As I was walking around the store, I came across stuff that interests me: the Daiso Korea Wireless Charge Holder. As this cost only 5000 South Korean Won and this is something that I feel is useful when I am driving, I decided to purchase it.

The Stuff

The Daiso Korea Wireless Charge Holder is a wireless charging stand that has to be mounted on the car's air vent. It uses a USB type C port and no cable is included in the packaging. The adjustable clamp is at the sides and the bottom to hold onto phones with a maximum width of 8cm.

Based on the box, it supports all smartphones that support wireless charging -5V-3A, 9V-1.67A (15W).

Usage and Experience

I have been using the Daiso Korea Wireless Charge Holder for almost a month since this post. I am amazed by the fact that for 5000 South Korean Won, the wireless charging does work!

It was able to securely clamp my phone (Mi 10 Pro and Nothing Phone 1, inclusive of the phone case) without any issue. In the car, I mount it onto the air vent and connect it to a USB port. While driving, there is no incident of my Nothing Phone 1 dropping or the holder being loose. It was well secured.

Final Thoughts 

Overall, I feel that the Daiso Korea Wireless Charge Holder is definitely an affordable-priced car phone holder with wireless charging around. If you are interested in this stuff, you will need to be in South Korea and try your luck at any Daiso store.
