Background

In May 2023, after getting the Basics BasicbookS BB1022FW, I decided to look for a cheap cover to protect it when I bring it out. As such, I decided to head down to Daiso to see what affordable cover I can find.

After walking around the store, I found the Daiso Cushioned Case A4. The size is bigger than the Basics BasicbookS BB1022FW but since it is only 2.16 SGD, I decided to get it.

The Stuff

The Daiso Cushioned Case A4 comes in black with a certain level of cushion. It comes with a plastic hook at the side. It opens with a zip which can put stuff other than A4 documents.

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

I have been using the Daiso Cushioned Case A4 for more than a month since this post. With my Basics BasicbookS BB1022FW inside this case, I usually put it in the laptop compartment of my Chrome Industries Buran III Messenger Bag for 17 Inch Laptop. With that, I have better peace of mind since it's now "double protected".

Putting a laptop onto this cushion case is a risk, as the cushion is not thick as compared to typical laptop cases. I would probably put other stuff like cables or other IT accessories if I am not putting my Basics BasicbookS BB1022FW.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the Daiso Cushioned Case A4 is a cheap option cushioned case for stuff that requires some form of protection. If you are interested in this stuff, you can head on down to any Daiso store and pick one up while stocks last.
