Usage and Experience
I have had the Allanson 12″ Antique Raised Relief Desk National Geographic Collection – Replogle Globes for over a week since this post. It is placed on one of my desks so I can look and spin at it when I feel like it. Surprisingly it is not heavy as I can carry it with one hand.
I like that the globe has raised relief which gives me a sense of the location's terrain when I am looking at it.
In terms of build quality, I would say this is one well build globe. It feels sturdy and its design is nice.
Strangely, the brass-plated base has a place to imprint National Geographic but it is blank. This could raise questions on the authenticity of this globe, even though there is a Certificate of Authenticity.
