Background
In June 2023, while I was online looking at stuff, I came across the Owala FreeSip® Stainless Steel 40oz Water Bottle. As the design and various colors of the water bottle interest me, I decided to purchase it.
The Stuff
Based on the wrapping around the Owala FreeSip® Stainless Steel 40oz Water Bottle, it has the following features:
- It can keep drinks cold for 24 hours
- It is leakproof
- It is insulated
- It has a built-in straw
Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience
I have been using the Owala FreeSip® Stainless Steel 40oz Water Bottle for a few days since this post. I like the built-in straw as it allows me to drink without tilting the bottle. Tilting the bottle too much may cause the drink to spill, especially when there is not much water left.
I have tried filling ice and water and accidentally leaving the cap open for hours, overnight about 7 to 8 hours. Surprisingly there is still some ice that is not fully melted, which I believed that drinks can be kept for very long as the wrapper indicated.
As I prefer to use my hand and wash the inside of a bottle, I'm unable to do it with this bottle as the diameter is too small for my hand. I will have to get those long stick-with-brush kinds.
