Background

Back in January 2023, I was wandering online looking at stuff when something interested me: the PHOTOOLEX TOFU Portable LED Camera Light. As I believe this would be useful, I decided to purchase it.

The Stuff

The PHOTOOLEX TOFU Portable LED Camera Light is a squarish design (like tofu) LED light with two knobs at the side for adjustments. It uses USB Type C for charging and has screw holes on top and bottom to mount onto a camera or tripod.

Based on the PHOTOOLEX website, here are some features/descriptions of the stuff:

- Long Battery Life: Enjoy Type-C 5V charging and battery life up to 10 hours (min brightness). It also can be used while charging, no longer need to worry about the problem of insufficient battery. Usage and Experience

I have been using the PHOTOOLEX TOFU Portable LED Camera Light for about 2 months since this post. So far I use it mainly to light up under-lit places with the cool light, but I am amazed by the number of settings/adjustments I can do on this small stuff.

I also experimented by trying it in my bathroom and storeroom just by using this light. With the right adjustment, the light can be very bright. It can literally be used as a torchlight.
