Background

In December 2022, while looking at Christmas gifts for friends, I stumbled across the Bodum Pavina Outdoor 2 pcs Double Wall Tumbler 0.45l 15oz. As the design is similar to the glass version that I have (not the same brand), and it is on offer, I decided to purchase it.

The Stuff

The Bodum Pavina Outdoor 2 pcs Double Wall Tumbler 0.45l 15oz is made of plastic. According to the Bodum website, it is "extremely durable, BPA-free material, making them virtually strong drinking glasses." It is also shatterproof.

Usage and Experience

I have been using the Bodum Pavina Outdoor 2 pcs Double Wall Tumbler 0.45l 15oz a few times since this post. I feel safer using this compared to the glass version as I break the latter. I also like that it is also clear like the glass version.

The double wall construction definitely keeps hot or cold drinks longer compared to regular cups, and I am able to hold them well even with hot water. But it has no cover so there's no way to keep it hot or cold for hours.

Same as the glass version, as the design of such a tumbler has a smaller area than the top part, the chances of toppling it are high. That is how I break the glass version as I was careless and knocked it over.

Final Thoughts
