Background

In August 2022, I decided to look for a stapler as I do not have one at home. As such, I went to the Popular Bookstore near my workplace in search of one.

As there were many different types, shapes, and sizes of staples in the store, I decided to get the one that I feel is "solid": the MAX Stapler HD-50R. In addition, I also got the compatible staple.

The Stuff

The MAX Stapler HD-50R comes in a few colors, in which the one I purchased is beige. It comes with a built-in staple remover.

Based on their website that I manage to find online, here is the specification of the stuff:

Product name: HD-50R
Staples: 24/6(No.3), 26/6(No.35)
Stapling capacity: 30 sheets(64gsm) / 24 sheets(80gsm)
Loading capacity: 50 staples(24/6), 100 staples(26/6)
Dimensions: W50 x D125 x H55(mm)
Weight(Net): 188g
Insertion depth: 64mm

Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience

So far, I have used the MAX Stapler HD-50R a few times since this post. I have not encountered any problems and the thickest I have tested is 16 pieces of 80gsm paper (A4 size paper torn into 16 even pieces).

The built-in staple remover is a great feature to have as I can remove stapled papers with ease for scanning documents.

The stapling style can also be switched by pressing the button on the bottom of the stapler and turning it in any direction. I have yet to try other styles than the normal stapling style since the others are uncommon to use.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I feel that the MAX Stapler HD-50R is a solid stapler for consideration. The only drawback will be its price as it is not considered a cheap stapler. If you are interested in this stuff, you can click on the link below:
