Usage and Experience
Back in March 2022, as I was getting the Surface Laptop Studio, I decided to get a "matching" Microsoft mouse to complement it.
After browsing a few mice on the Microsoft website, I decided to get the Microsoft Surface Mobile Mouse KGY-00005.
The Stuff
The Microsoft Surface Mobile Mouse KGY-00005 that I bought comes in Glacier color to match my laptop. It has other colors such as Pastel Blue, Mint, and Peach. It uses Bluetooth to pair and has Microsoft bluetrack technology. The scrolling wheel is aluminum and the packaging comes with 2 AAA alkaline batteries.
Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience
Since this post, I have been using the Microsoft Surface Mobile Mouse KGY-00005 for months. I like that this is not those big size mouse that makes it bulky when bringing it out. Another thing that I like is that this uses Bluetooth, so no USB receiver is needed. USB receiver can be a problem as one can forget to unplug it from one computer and realize it when it needs to be used on another computer.
As this is a symmetrical designed mouse, I can use it either on my left or right hand. I do use a mouse using my left hand, especially when my right hand is occupied with food or is dirty.
The lid of the battery compartment is magnetized. As such it is very easy to replace the batteries when they run out.
I feel that the Bluetooth button which is at the bottom of the mouse can be bigger. When I am done using the mouse, I will usually off it by pressing the button, and sometimes I miss it due to its size.
In terms of performance, there is nothing to complain as it did what it was supposed to :)
Overall, I feel that the Microsoft Surface Mobile Mouse KGY-00005 is a good-to-have mouse, as there are cheaper versions of Bluetooth mice out on the market. If you are interested in this stuff, you can click on the links below:
