Background
Back in August 2022, I was looking for ways to better dehumidify my home as I live in a place where humidity is considered high. I do use those disposable dehumidifiers but I will have to keep buying when it's used up. So as usual I went online to search for ideas.
I tried to use baking soda and leave it in the open. I don't think it is a good idea in the long run as it may result in baking soda being blown away if I turn on the fan, and also I will have to replenish it. I continued my search and found the Xiaomi SOTHING Plant Dehumidifier DSHJ-DG-006.
It is not a big dehumidifier to cover a room, but it is able to use electricity to recharge. As such I decided to purchase one to try it out.
