Back in May 2022, I was looking for a mouse pad as my standing desk surface is tempered glass. I decided not to go online to find one but instead shop around at possible shops that sell one if I happen to pass by one.
I did manage to pass by Challenger and they do sell some mouse pads. I looked around and happen to find the Elecom MP-SL02 Soft Leather Mouse Pad XL Size Black. Initially, I wanted to get a cheap mouse pad but after looking at the Elecom MP-SL02 Soft Leather Mouse Pad XL Size Black, I decided to get it as I feel it looks better.
The Stuff
The Elecom MP-SL02 Soft Leather Mouse Pad XL Size Black has a soft leather feel on the top side. The bottom of the mouse pad is somewhat sticky silicon to prevent it from moving. According to the packaging, it measures 180mm by 230mm by 4mm.

Usage and Experience
I have used the Elecom MP-SL02 Soft Leather Mouse Pad XL Size Black whenever I am using my standing desk with my laptop. I have never tried a soft leather surface when using my mouse before, so I felt it has some kind of resistance with the mouse I am using, hence it takes a while to get used to it.
The bottom side of the mouse pad which is the stick silicon does its job nicely. The mouse pad did not move around when I'm using it.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I feel that the Elecom MP-SL02 Soft Leather Mouse Pad XL Size Black is nice in design but not must-have stuff. It is just something that I need due to the surface of my desk.
