Background
Back in 2018 if I recalled correctly, I received a reusable foldable bag from someone that is by H&M. Since the topic of sustainability has been on the rise, it is great to receive such stuff to reduce the use of plastic bags.
The Stuff
The H&M Foldaway Shopper that I received comes in black. Here are some of the information that I have gotten from the H&M Singapore website:
- Shopper in a soft weave that can be folded into the inner pocket. Size of shopper: Length 70 cm. Width 35 cm. Depth 9 cm. Size of inner pocket: Length 13 cm. Width 10 cm.
- Weight:70 g
- Composition: Polyester 100%
- More sustainable materialsShell: Recycled polyester 100%
Here are some pictures that I have taken to show what the stuff looks like:

Usage and Experience
I have been using the H&M Foldaway Shopper for years, especially when going grocery shopping. It is definitely a great way to reduce the use of plastic bags, as I was able to fill this bag with more stuff, as compared to those normal supermarket plastic bags.
Also, the H&M Foldaway Shopper is able to put heavier stuff compared to plastic bags. Putting 3 1.5 liter bottles is not an issue, while I will have to double bag it if it is plastic bags, for the fear that it might break.
Being foldable, I can just put it in my bag and use it when I decided to do some shopping.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I feel that the H&M Foldaway Shopper is great stuff to have to reduce our use of plastic or paper bags.
Unfortunately, from what I know H&M does not have this anymore. You may want to try to find it while visiting any H&M stores but fret not, as there are other brands out there that are similar.
