Xiaomi Selfie Stick and Tripod with Bluetooth Remote XMZPG01YM Review

Background
Back in October 2019, I was wandering around online looking at some Xiaomi stuff. I came across the Xiaomi Selfie Stick and Tripod with Bluetooth Remote (XMZPG01YM). It caught my attention due to its multi-purpose function as a selfie stick and tripod. As such, I decided to purchase one to use from Qoo10.
The Product
The Xiaomi Selfie Stick and Tripod with Bluetooth Remote comes in 2 colors, grey and black. It is a selfie stick that can be extended to an additional 23cm, and the handle can be open to form a tripod. It comes with a Bluetooth remote controller so that you can take a picture or video without pressing on your phone.

Usage and Experience
I have use the Xiaomi Selfie Stick and Tripod with Bluetooth Remote mainly on tripod mode. This is because I have been using this to make videos most of the time. With the selfie stick being able to extend, I can place it on the table, and elevate it to achieve a good height and angle for my videos.
The Bluetooth remote control is easy to use. To power on, press and hold the camera icon on the remote for 1 second. It will light up and start flashing. To pair the Bluetooth remote with your phone, look for the device name XMZPG under Bluetooth to connect. Once connected, just go to your camera app and start taking pictures or videos by pressing the camera icon button on the remote.
To power off the Bluetooth remote, simply press and hold the button for 1 second and it will power off.
To charge the Bluetooth remote, you will need to use a micro USB cable which is not provided in the packaging.
So far, I have had a good experience with the selfie stick and did not face any problems. I also feel that this selfie stick has been well built.
